Evangelist Shamgar Deatherage and his family are based out of Sterlington, Louisiana, and travel extensively as traveling Pentecostal revivalists and speakers. Rather than serving as a local pastor tied to a single stationary home church, his itinerant ministry regularly features guest preaching, youth rallies, and revivals at various Pentecostal and Holiness congregations nationwide—such as the Clovis Pentecostal Church of God and Summersville Pentecostal Church
